Specificity is key in marketing, messaging, dealing with customers, managing your team, and even in personal relationships. Consider the before state, objections, and after state of your customers. Be specific in addressing their needs. For instance, instead of a generic weight loss goal, focus on helping them lose five pounds in seven days.

Throughout your week, hit the pause button before sending emails or planning content. Ask yourself: Is this as specific as it can be? Specificity builds trust, and trust builds authority. A clear call to action, with a specific timeframe, activates a reader's internal clock, enhancing accountability and transforming marketing results.

Challenge yourself to be specific in all aspects—communication with your team, calls to action, and understanding your customers' pain points. Ambiguity can erode trust. Put yourself in your audience's shoes, whether they're team members or customers.
